Uyama, after he graduated university, had visited Autlalia for a year.
He worked as a river guide there and learned not only rafting skill but
also operation skill. After he came back Japan, he tried to start rafting
operation company but he didn't have enough money. He was hinted by god
the prize of rafting race was rafting boat. The idea came I could start
rafting company if I won the rafting races. The good member Tani, Arami,
Sakata, Kouno gathered together and got the rafting team. Uyama worked
on the Constriction Company weed day and the night he did weight training
while he was drawing in his mind the dream came true. Every weekend the
member gathered together. They run 10 km at Hatchoyou mountain pass, did
ton of push ups and sit-ups. As the result in 1997 they won every single
race they entered among of rafting cap, Kiotu canon rafting race, Japan
River venture cup and Tenryu white water Festival. They got 4 rafts for
the price of rafting races. And,Bigsmile was started. |
